YESTERDAY’S FLOWERS ARE TODAY’S DREAMS

— Japanese Proverb

Although I absolutely possess no expertise in the science of flowers, I’ve always admired the simple yet complex beauty of this sensual, sexual, inexhaustible, ingenious species of the botanical world. Whether at the Botanical Gardens or just aimlessly walking side streets and coming upon a patch of flowers bathing in the sun, or better yet, in the shade, I usually have my camera ready for shooting. I use Adobe Photoshop to clean everything up, add layers and modes, retouch using brushes and textures, and apply varying filters and effects to achieve the desired look.
